Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2

CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS 2 REVIEW

Black Ops 2!
It's Back. Call Of Duty. Black Ops 2! (OMYGODOMYGODOMYGOD!). Is it really worth the hype? Is it worth the attention? Is it better than the original Black Ops? (altough that wouldn't be hard...).
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 has got some seriously high expectations! After the great success of Modern Warfare 3, the 'best-selling franchise of all time' had to resume it's post as the best!
The big difference in Black Ops 2 is that it has taken a completely different road to Black Ops 1. The original Black Ops was based in the past. Black Ops 2 is based in the future. It does have a few missions in the past though, due to flashbacks by, mainly, Frank Woods. Anyway, I suppose what you want to know about is the gameplay. Is it worth buying?

Graphics:

Though Sledgehammer Games didn't have any type of main role in the production of the game, it's still feels totally realistic, keeps you alert, never knowing what's going to happen next. The graphics are genuinely amazing. Never do you see any type of strange pixelation of major/catastrophic glitch up during gameplay, so the first person experience has never felt better.

Storyline:

The storyline of Black Ops 2 mixes from past flashbacks and the future. The gameplay involved, to me, is quite tense, which really does create the edge-of-seat experience that we are looking for. I've got to say, the future missions are absolutely amazing! In fact, I think that it's the best storyline to any game i've ever played!
Ok, so maybe i'm being a bit full-on about it. I admit, though it's all amazing and so on, it does have a flaw or two. Fortunately they're minor, and to some, they're not even problems. The problem is this whole 'betrayal atmosphere 'they created. Early into the game you get two betrayals in quick succession. I get what the COD makers are trying to do. It's all about creating friction among the characters and create a sense of evil and dispair. However, I personally think that they happen too soon. You've only just discovered being betrayed once, so your mind is pondering the new possibilities to the campaign's outcome. So when it happens again you're just thinking WHAT THE ****! However, this is just my opinion, so i guess it's no surpise if I get critisism for it.

Multiplayer:

This is where Black Ops 2 HAS TO SUCCEED! It was the downfall of the original Black Ops, so Black Ops 2 needs to be as close as possible to, well, perfect! The original Black Ops had a few major problems, mainly it's server connections. It would constantly be franic to migrate any new host, and would tend to lose connections with the servers altogether sometimes. I guess it could have something to do with the fact that so many people bought it, which made the game lobby's full quick, but we've never had this type of problem so badly before, so it should have been fine. Black Ops 2 is, fortunatey, much better. I've played this game everyday since i've got it and i'm so happy to say that it's connection is brilliant. Obviously it's notgoing to be perfect, as no game on the planet is, but it hardly ever lags, and migrates with good hosts quickly. I've got to say, the sensation of playing Black Ops 2 online is simply sublime. The game is very responsive, and the variety of weapons is fantastic. There's a weapon for all occasions, to meet your every need.

Overall:

Overall, I think this is, in my opinion, the best Call Of Duty game yet. There's not a single problem with the game that would make you hesistate when buying it. Playing this game is abslutely great. Endulging yourself in it's wild campaign is fantastic! Call Of Duty continues to be my favourite games around, and Black Ops 2, has raised the bar against all it's rivals.
